Fighters are able to specialize in two handed axes, dual hatchets, or bows. With a focus on maximum damage output, fighters are resilient and lethal.

The Fighter is the first warrior class job change for the Gaia characters. Fighters enjoy high attack power and can store energy in spiracles for later conversion to boost either HP or Vit. With a bow they serve as a good puller in a party. They make good damage dealers whether wielding an axe or a bow and can even do a decent job as a tank though not as effective as the Holy Warrior in that tank role. Attack speed is not as high as for the Strider.

Highlights[]

Strength[]

  • Good damage dealers
  • High Vitality increased through buff.
  • Good amount of defence
  • Excellent at farming
  • Have the ability to restore Health and Mana using Spircales

Weakness[]

  • Can generate too much aggro (intentionally) that will draw mobs away from the tank. (In DP or when soloing and using a pet as tank)
  • Although they have a Health/Mana restore skill, this skill cannot be used to heal constantly. (1:30 minute cooldown)
  • Slow attack speed, although this can be increased at higher JLv

Notable skills[]

Include:[1]

  • Mental Concentration – Increases the critical ratio for a short period of time.
  • Spiracle Charge – Charges a spiracle, which is a ball of energy required to carry out class specific skills.
  • Energy Charge – Consumes spiracle(s) to recover HP and MP
  • Spiracle of Vitality - Consumes spiracle(s) to boost Vit for a short duration.
  • Axe wielding:
    • Blasting Rock Cut – Deal a powerful critical hit that stuns your target.
    • Storming Serial Cut – Hit opponent three times and stuns them.
    • Barbarian Rage – Self buff that gives you a chance to hit twice normally instead of once.
    • Log Split – An attack that causes damage while reducing defense power momentarily.
    • Wind Cut – Slices an opponent dealing damage as well as damage over time.
  • Bow wielding
    • Loading Restrain – Chance to snare an opponent.
    • Arrow of Delay – A ranged attack that causes initial damage and reduces movement speed momentarily.
    • Heat Shot – Adds fire to the ranged attack. The target suffers minor fire damage for a short period of time.
    • Spiracle Shock Shot – Consumes a spiracle to knock back and stun the target.
    • Freezing Arrow – Consumes a spiracle to freeze the target in place.

Weapons[]

The skill tree favors either

  • the bow (it's long bow but not crossbow) for the fighter aspiring to become an archer
  • the axe (one-handed or two-handed) or sword (one-handed or two-handed) for the fighter aspiring to become a champion
