Daily quests commenced in Epic 8 Part 1 with the release of 5 missions of linked quests. (Relevant forum thread.) The reward for the final daily quest in the mission includes Arena Points, which can also be won from victories in the battle arena. Some quests within the mission provide no reward at all. The missions conclude with a boss quest of much higher difficulty than the other quests in the mission.

  • Level 100. Awards 30 Arena Points. Feeling A Bit Hungry - The Desert Legend - Exploration Of The Shattered Labyrinth -
  • Level 120. Awards 40 Arena Points. Starts by talking to Guard Captain Kudon in Rondo.
  • Level 150. Awards 50 Arena Points. Starts by talking to Traveler Silpineu at Palmir Plateau Coast
  • Level 170. Awards 100 Arena Points. Starts by talking to Supervisor Heath at Crystal Mountain Summit

Arena Points are only awarded for these five quests. All other daily quests are rewarded with an Asura coin in addition to exp. jp, and rupees. The coins can be spent at the Coin Exchange NPC in any of the towns for creature cards, buffs, or decorative gear. (Prior to epic 9.1 they were Coins of Gaia.)

In Epics 8.2, 8.3 and 9.1 additional daily quests were released, or existing quests were converted to daily quests. These newer daily quests award significant amounts of experience points, job points and rupees. They do not follow the mission structure, but instead are one-one quests. However, in some cases, multiple daily quests use the same location and can be completed concurrently. For example, Ancient Traces ? Collect Data, Secrets of Birth ? Collect Experimental Material and The Cursed Tree ? Collect Experimental Material are all assigned by a Union Member NPC and all take place in Vulcanus. (These 3 quests are curiously linked. The items being sought are assigned randomly on mob kills, but when a kill does cause a drop, it does so for all 3 quests, so the 3 quests will complete simultaneously.) *The Vulcanus daily quests can only be completed through level 149. Once a player reaches level 150, they can no longer do these quests. All other daily quests will still be available.*
